Lens Digital, a new digital agency focusing on delivering high-quality, modern websites for small businesses has launched in Ascot.
A survey done earlier this year by research company Clutch.co found that 46% of 350 small businesses surveyed did not have a website. 22% of those businesses say they do not plan on ever having a website. Some of the reasons behind this include cost, social media presence and lack of knowledge.
However, a website gives a business credibility, visibility and access to a much wider market than is reached by traditional marketing. It can also save businesses money and keep customers informed.
Lens Digital is looking to work with companies in the Berkshire area who want to develop their online presence. Founder Andrew Spiers has worked in the IT industry for over 25 years with a range of companies from start-ups through to multi-nationals. He has extensive experience in developing business websites for different sectors, including charity, transportation, and sport.
Andrew said “Customers are searching for companies online more and more. Many small businesses don’t invest in their websites, which means that they’re missing out on vital revenue. Lens Digital can help small businesses improve their online profile, which will help them get more customers, make more money and grow.”
