Most Of Your Website Visitors Aren’t Ready To Buy

Most of your website visitors are not ready to buy - they are just looking. Your website needs to cater for the browsers and the buyers.

Have you heard of the 95/5 rule in marketing?

95% of your audience isn’t ready to buy, but 5% are.

Your website must cater for both groups;

  • For the 95%: Create engaging, informative content that enables the visitor to find out more about your products and services. You need to ensure that your business name is the one that comes to mind when they are ready to buy. Focus on your product / service pages, blog posts and educational resources.
  • For the 5%: Although the 5% are ready to buy, the process needs to be as easy as possible. Use clear Call-To-Actions that directs the website visitors to the step they need to take.

By making sure that your website targets both groups, you can ensure that you build long-term relationships and convert the visitors when they are ready to buy.
