What are Google Business Profile Websites?
Google Business Profile websites are single page websites and have been generally used by small businesses as a way of getting a cost-effective (free) way of getting online. By default, sites created with Google Business Profile have the domain structure: ‘yourcompanyname.business.site’.
Google Announcement
Google have announced that websites built with Google Business Profile will be turned off from the 1st March 2024. For clarification, Google Business Profiles will continue, just the websites will be turned off.
Update - 1st March 2024
Google Business Profile Websites have now been removed. For the next couple of months they will redirect through to Google Maps after that they will go nowhere. Action now.
