How Do You Introduce Your Business?

Go and have a look at the homepage of your website - what does it say about your business? Is it clear about what you do and who you help?
What You Do Matters

If you ask me what I do, my quick reply is “I build websites”. It tells you everything but nothing in one sentence.

I could expand it to;

“I am an web designer based in Ascot”

Bit more informative but still doesn’t say much more. How about;

“I am an Ascot based web designer who builds websites for growing businesses”

It’s getting there. Expand a bit more;

“I am an Ascot based web designer who builds websites for growing businesses which help them to tell their stories and share what makes them unique”.

From that one sentence, you can tell exactly what I do and who I help.
