Best Plumbing Websites in the UK – Examples and What Makes Them Work

When we’re working on a new website, we always look at what others in the same sector have built. It helps us understand what works, what’s become the expected standard, and where there’s an opportunity to do something different.

We’ve pulled together a selection of plumbing websites, from the UK and further afield, that we think do something genuinely well. For each one, we’ve explained what it gets right, so you can think about how to apply the same principle to your own site.

UK Plumbing Websites Worth Looking At

Hallmark Plumbing and Heating: Sandhurst, Berkshire

Hallmark Plumbing and Heating are a Worcester Bosch approved installer covering Berkshire and the surrounding area. Their website leads with their most important credentials — Gas Safe registration, manufacturer approval, and years of experience – without burying the visitor in text. Each service has its own dedicated page, and the projects gallery gives prospective clients a clear sense of the standard of work.

What it does well: It looks like a company, not a sole trader. The accreditations are visible immediately, the photography is professional, and there’s a clear path from homepage to contact.

International plumbing websites worth studying

Red Lilly Plumbing - Los Angeles

A company that’s been trading since the 1920s and leans into it. The vintage photography and period-appropriate logo are genuinely distinctive. In a sector where most websites look more or less the same, Red Lilly stands out immediately.

What it does well: Using heritage as a differentiator. If your business has a history, your website should say so. Longevity is a powerful trust signal.

Zest Plumbing and Drain - Scottsdale, Arizona

A bold, high-contrast site that refuses to blend in. The design is deliberate and confident – a reminder that a plumbing website doesn’t have to look like every other plumbing website.

What it does well: Standing out. In a crowded sector, a website that looks different, provided it’s still professional and easy to use, is more memorable than one that plays it safe.

Local Service Pro Plumbing - USA

A retro-styled site with a 1950s feel that works because it’s executed consistently. The messaging is direct, the contact information is prominent, and the personality comes through without compromising usability.

What it does well: Personality with purpose. The style is distinctive but the fundamentals, clear messaging, visible contact details, easy navigation, are all in place.

What these websites have in common

Looking across all of these sites, a few things stand out:

  • The best plumbing websites are specific about who they serve. They don’t try to appeal to everyone.
  • Credibility signals, accreditations, reviews, years of experience, notable clients, are visible without the visitor having to go looking for them.
  • Professional photography makes an outsized difference. Poor-quality images undermine everything else on the page.
  • Clear contact information is always within reach. Phone numbers are in the header on every page.
  • The best sites reflect where the business is now, not where it was when the site was first built.

Is your plumbing website doing its job?

If you look at these examples and find yourself thinking your own website doesn’t compare well, you’re not alone. Most plumbing company websites were built for an earlier version of the business and haven’t kept up.

We built the Hallmark website from scratch after they came to us with exactly that problem.
